Recruiting a team manager with a good background to work for our business. The ideally candidate should have experience in a major industry such as a gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Be prepared to do extra to support colleagues during high workloads and incidents.
Good leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be able to act on your own initiative.
An extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedures is essential.
Managing performance, delivering improvements in performance by embracing innovation and challenging the norm.
Committed to safety and to providing coaching & leadership.
Providing a safe, efficient and effective service to all of our customers.
Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
Managing operational activities within budget allocations.
Be prepared to be mainly field based out on-site driving team performance
A full clean UK Driving License is essential for this role
Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all the range of operational activities, including the Emergency, Repair, Connections & Competency processes.
Effective communication skills at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
