This opportunity is a for a civil engineer with experience in structural, transportation, enviromental or geotechnical engineering. The candidate should be aware of the process involved in designing, contructing and mantaining different infrastructures such as water systems, roads, bridges, etc. The main object will be to oversee construction and ensure that the sturctures are safe sustainable and inline with our business requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaboration: Working with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver projects.
Construction Supervision: Monitoring construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Planning and designing infrastructure projects using engineering principles.
Supervising construction to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Problem-solving: Addressing technical challenges, ensuring projects are feasible and sustainable.
Project Management: Overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Ability to analyze geotechnical and environmental factors.
Planning and Design: Developing project plans, specifications, and designs using computer software and data from surveys and tests.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.
Managing budgets and resources for efficient project execution.
Ensuring sustainability by minimizing environmental impact.
Compliance: Ensuring projects adhere to building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conducting site investigations to assess environmental and geological conditions.
Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and materials science.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
