Responsibilities
- Deal structuring and negotiation:
Help structure and negotiate deals, often working with lawyers and other professionals.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or economics is preferred or a recognised certificate from a business insitituion
- Valuation and financial modeling:
Analyze companies and create financial models to assess their value and potential investment opportunities.
- Financial Modeling – Creating projections and valuation models using Excel.
- Analytical Thinking – Evaluating financial statements and market conditions.
- Advising clients: Help clients develop and implement strategies to achieve their financial goals.
- Financial modeling and valuation skills:
They need to be proficient in creating and using financial models to assess investments.
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) – Advising businesses on buying, selling, or merging with other companies.
- Software Proficiency – Using Bloomberg Terminal, SQL, and financial databases.
- Knowledge of financial markets and regulations:
They need to understand how financial markets work and the regulations that govern them.
- Underwriting – Evaluating financial risks and pricing securities for public offerings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
They need to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other professionals.
