Recruiting a team manager with a good background to work for our business. The ideally candidate should have experience in a major industry such as a gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Be prepared to do extra to support colleagues during high workloads and incidents.
- A full clean UK Driving License is essential for this role
- Effective communication skills at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
- Managing operational activities within budget allocations.
- Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all the range of operational activities, including the Emergency, Repair, Connections & Competency processes.
- Be prepared to be mainly field based out on-site driving team performance
- Managing performance, delivering improvements in performance by embracing innovation and challenging the norm.
- Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
- Committed to safety and to providing coaching & leadership.
- Good leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be able to act on your own initiative.
- An extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedures is essential.
- Providing a safe, efficient and effective service to all of our customers.
