Translator
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled, a remote translator to convert written materials into their native languages. You will ensure translated texts convey the original tone, intent, and cultural nuances accurately. You will have access to the business text stored in a database through a translation tool.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate written documents, marketing assets, and technical text accurately.
- Localise content to match regional cultural contexts.
- Maintain the original tone, style, and meaning of source texts.
- Review, proofread, and self-edit translations for grammatical correctness.
- Manage time efficiently to meet strict project deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers to clarify ambiguous source phrasing.
Required Qualifications
- Native fluency in the target language.
- Full professional proficiency in the source language (English).
- Proven experience as a translator or localiser.
- Deep understanding of regional cultural nuances and idioms.
- Proficiency with CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools.
- Strong written communication and editing skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
